WHAT WE ENVISIONED TO DO
Focusing on the poverty crisis currently crippling many of the Hungduan population, HGHOI has progressed and identified the potential of local tourism industry development, specifically in the areas of agri-tourism and sports tourism, as viable economic development opportunities in the municipality as an effective means which can significantly help reduce poverty incidence.
The following projects are identified as catalysts in making changes in the lives of the Hungduan people.
These projects are aimed to give the necessary support and assistance either in term of job or cash to those in dire need.
HGHOI ambitiously hope that with the help of the projects below, all family will afford to have their basic needs, the sick people will receive financial support for their medication and above all, every children would afford to go to school.

CONSTRUCTION OF TOURISM FACILITIES
A venue where tournaments can be held. It will bring in people from neighboring towns and provinces and eventually will help bring more revenue into the town. Local businesses can also see an increase in revenue during sports events.

Multi Sports Building
Designed to hold tournaments in weightlifting, table tennis and billiards
Multi-Purpose Gymnasium
Designed to hold huge events such as sports tournaments including boxing, lawn tennis, volleyball, and other sports as well as cultural shows and concerts
Guest Accommodation including Four Units Native House
The guest accommodation and four units native house are designed to accommodate visitors and athletes from different provinces who will be coming to attend and witness tournaments in the area
Fitness Center and Sport Massage
The fitness center will house exercise equipments. The sport massage area will be used to prepare the athletes for their best performance during sports activities.
Restaurant
Will be used to serve meals and refreshments to the guests and athletes
Gazebo
Designed to provide a local entertainment venue for both locals and visitors such as the performance of native dance and other local talents, which will add to the overall visitor experience in the area
Grocery Store
Will be used to sell goods and other local products to the visitors.
All below projects are expected to yield additional income for Hungduan Municipality and its people.
Museum
The construction of Museum will give more insights to the visitors regarding the arts, heritage, and activities that truly represent the stories and people of the past and present of Hungduan.
The museum will be filled with many artifacts of cultural, religious and historical importance, preserved, researched, and will be presented to the public for the purpose of education and enjoyment.
Art Center
designed to house wood carving, hand weaving, blacksmith and a display room.
Hungry for inspiration? This art destination will surely satisfy your craving of extraordinary works of creativity and genius.
The extraordinary skills of Hungduan folks in wood carving and hand weaving will surely amaze visitors as they watch them doing their piece. This can give visitors some sort of connection to the current culture in the community.
Display Room
This will give visitors chance to own some of the masterpiece made by those local folks’ artists. Travel experience is more memorable by having some of those handy souvenirs especially when you saw yourself how the items are formed by the artists themselves.
Massage Center
Tired of the whole day travel? A complete body massage at the end of the day will give a complete whole night relaxation ready for the next day travel. Relaxing all the muscles before going to sleep will relieve all pains and stress that will result to a good night sleep.
HGHOI Office and Information Center
A point of inquiry regarding the events offered in Hungduan. It is designed to accommodate an information office, HGHOI office, and a meeting room, which are essential for the effective management of the tourism and sports faciltitiies;
Latrines (5-Units)
It will ensure the comfort of the visitors at any time they needed while on their travel to the different tourist spots. This will solve sanitation issues and prevent probable occurrence of waterborne diseases
Potable Water System
With clean water, everyone’s health improves.
The construction of more than 7 Kms long of water supply that comes from the mountain down to the village is a top priority that will assure our visitors and the people in the community of a clean water for drinking and a continuous supply for sanitation.
This project will supply the proposed sports facilities, the latrines , the Hapao elementary school and the households along the pipeline route. It will likewise serve as back up to the water system of the Hungduan Municipal Hospital so in case of any breakage in their pipeline then an alternate supply is readily available.
Cable Car around the Hapao Rice Terraces
The Construction of a 4 kilometers cable car will give our visitors the full excitements they deserve to experience. It is a roller coaster that goes to the mountain and down to the village then to the sports facilities. All along its way is a complete breath-taking view of the Hapao rice terraces. a stopover will be established as a vantage point for riders to take a photograph of the majestic rice terraces that form like a crocodile by the river that flows along its edge.

Use to transport farmers products from Barangay Baang to the main road and ferry back goods from the road to the village. Barangay Baang has no access road from the main road due to the presence of the rice terraces and a river in the middle.

Use to transport garbage from the village to the main road then by truck to the dumpsite.
